Hello friends, both old and new !
We are pleased to be returning to our blogging once again. It has been a while since we have been active, tho our hit or miss presence should be familiar. There really is no point in apologizing for behavior we know is quite likely to continue, so we won’t. As much as we would love to be the type of people who offer consistency and reliability in our blogging presence, we simply are not wired that way. We do hope you will enjoy our content for what it is, for however long it sticks around this time.
That being said, our life has gone more than just slightly off in the time we have been away. So far off that we are now living on an entirely different continent with a new last name.

LOVE
Some of you may remember the last we spoke we were living in NY and were in a long distance relationship. We have finally been able to make the dream a reality and tied the knot with Lily in February of this year. After a few months of waiting for our Spouse VISA we were able to make the big leap over the pond and join her in the UK in June of this year.

Adapting to life in the UK has been fairly smooth going. There has been alot of adjusting to life with the metric system. We were not able to bring 90% of our stash with us, which was a painful but cost effective decision. We donated all of our fabric stash to the local public library. They have an after school sewing program and also works with Project Linus. The donation made our hearts happy to know it would be going to a good place.
PLURAL LIFE
Another change you may have noticed from our posts of old, is that we frequently speak in the plural. The reason for the shift is that we have become much more open about one of our more than slightly off quilter quirks. We have what is now called Dissociative Identity Disorder, but in the past was more commonly labeled as Multiple Personality Disorder.
With the tremendous support of our wife, we have learned to embrace who we are, instead of hiding away. We honestly could not be more blessed than we are these days. Okay, if we are being honest finding a really good US style pickle here in the UK would be brilliant. Other than that we are chuffed with what life has brought us.
Stay tuned for more Slightly Off Quilter antics, and we promise to include more quilty bits soon !
